Cricket Ground Studio: Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms apply when you install or use Cricket Ground Studio ("the app"), made by Quezlo Technologies (Pakistan). If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use the app for a club, ground, clinic or other organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

2. The app

Score ball by ball, put the score on your live video, and stream to YouTube or Facebook with your own key. Use extra phones as cameras. Make posters and highlights. Your matches stay on your own phone or laptop.

• Android phone app (Package name: pk.groundstudio.app): Test build. Native Java app, version 2.4.7, Android 7.0 or newer. No ads, no account, no in-app purchases.
• Windows laptop studio: Test build. Kotlin/JavaFX desktop app, version 0.4.1. Offline licence key with a 14-day trial. Checks for updates only when you press Check for update.
• iPhone, iPad and Mac app (Bundle ID: pk.groundstudio.cricketGroundStudio): In development. Early Flutter version for iOS/iPadOS 15 and macOS 12 or newer. Quick scorer, optional Pro in-app purchases through the App Store, and AdMob banner ads on iPhone and iPad only (never on the Mac, never for Pro users).

Test builds and early versions may have bugs. Features listed as coming later are not part of the app until they are released.

3. Android phone app

• The Android phone app is free to use. It has no in-app purchases and no ads.

4. Windows laptop studio licence

• A licence key is issued for one ground name. It lasts for life or until the date shown in the key.
• The key is checked on the laptop, offline. No internet is needed.
• A new laptop gets a 14-day trial with every feature.
• After the trial, or when a key expires, the app keeps working, but live video and recordings carry a small "Unlicensed copy" mark.
• Do not share, change or try to get around licence keys.

5. iPhone, iPad and Mac: Pro in-app purchases

• Pro is optional. It is sold through the App Store as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged in the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules. Use Restore purchases in the app to get Pro back on a new device.
• If Apple cannot charge a renewal, Pro keeps working for a short grace period while Apple retries.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to break the law or to harm others.
• Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or try to get around the licence checks of the app, except where the law allows it.
• Stream and record only matches and content you have the right to broadcast. You are responsible for broadcasting rights, music rights and sponsor rights.
• Get permission from players, officials and spectators where the law requires it before you record or stream them.
• Follow the rules of YouTube, Facebook or any other platform you stream to.
• Keep stream keys, IP camera passwords and phone codes safe.
• Use players' personal details (such as phone numbers and CNIC) only to run your matches and tournaments.
• A parent or guardian must fill in the profile of a player under 13.

7. Your data

How the app handles data is explained in the Cricket Ground Studio privacy policy. Data you enter is yours. Keep your own backups of important data.

8. Third-party services

Some features connect to services run by other companies that you choose to use (YouTube, Facebook, the App Store and Google AdMob). Their own terms and prices apply, and Quezlo Technologies is not responsible for them.

9. Updates and changes

We may update the app to fix problems or add features, and we may change or stop features. We will not take away something you paid for without a fair remedy where the law requires one.

10. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be free of errors or always available.

11. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Quezlo Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

12. Ending use

You can stop using the app and delete your data at any time (see Delete your data). We may stop a licence that is used against these terms.

13. Apple App Store terms

• These terms are between you and Quezlo Technologies, not Apple. Quezlo Technologies, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
• Your licence to use the app on Apple devices is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app does not meet any warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• Quezlo Technologies, not Apple, handles any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
• If someone claims the app infringes their intellectual property rights, Quezlo Technologies, not Apple, is responsible for dealing with that claim.
• You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must follow the terms of any third-party service you use with the app (for example, your streaming platform).
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you.
• Where these terms say nothing, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan decide disputes, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.

15. Changes to these terms

We post changes on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
